Barlovento Films is an independent production studio established by Marisa Zuleta, producer and Jaime Cruz, director in the year 2001.Our job is to produce audiovisual projects in order to promote an open sight and perception of culture and traditions of our people.
Consciously that cinema, animation and video are powerful tools to know the world surrounding us, we strive effort to create an artistic, informative and exciting job.
Our productions have been realized fundamentally within the animation and documental genres since the 80’s of the last century. The first ten years as a cinema and video Production House, in the 90’s as an Animation Studio in Mexico City and at the beginning of the century as an Independent Production Studio called Barlovento, located at Boca del Rio in the Veracruz Port since 2005.
During this years, besides ours audiovisual production services for television and cinema work, we have focused our labor in developing animation and documental films about Mexico’s literature, music, traditions and native tongues.
